After I finish writing the reviews for Talk:Kitten/GA1 and Talk:Bill Belichick/GA1, I will review this article. Snuggums (talk / edits) 06:15, 7 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Okay thanks.  — Calvin999 07:49, 8 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Sure thing. Snuggums (talk / edits) 13:23, 8 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
SNUGGUMS, you've been online and made a lot edits everyday this week. You're still yet to review the Bill Belichick article, which you say you're doing before this one. They won't take very long to review, "You're Mine (Eternal)" is quite short.  — Calvin999 10:19, 13 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry for the delay; got sidetracked. Working on this one now. Snuggums (talk / edits) 12:58, 13 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Lead
  • It's worth including UK R&B Chart since this reached the top 20 there
  • I don't think Trey Songz's nationality is needed here
Background and release
  • "advise" → "advice"; American spelling should be used for an American subject
  • "prior to singing the second single from Me. I Am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse, 'The Art of Letting Go'" → "prior to singing 'The Art of Letting Go' from Me. I Am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse"
  • "Carey premiered 'You're Mine (Eternal)' as the third single to be released from the album" → "Carey released 'You're Mine (Eternal)' as the album's third single"
  • I'm not sure if the bit on single artwork is necessary
Composition
  • "Rodney 'Darkchild' Jerkins" → Rodney Jerkins
  • "Carey is reminiscing" → "Carey reminisces"
  • "numerous" in "'You're Mine' garnered numerous comparisons" is unnecessary
  • Since an MTV ref and a Time ref are used for citing that it was compared to "We Belong Together", I'd use their commentary here
Critical reception
Promotion
References
  • "U.S." isn't needed for the iTunes references
  • The "!" is missing for Yahoo! Music
  • See above note on Fuse
  • "The" is part of the title for The Hollywood Reporter
  • "News.radio.com" should simply read "Radio.com"
  • Digital Spy shouldn't be italicized
  • "Rap Up" should be hyphenated
Overall
  • Well-written?
  • Prose quality: Decent, but needs improvements
  • Manual of Style compliance: Almost
  • Verifiable?
  • Reference layout: Several need to be fixed
  • Reliable sources: All good
  • No original research: None detected
  • Broad in coverage?
  • Major aspects: Could be expanded in a few areas
  • Focused: Some unnecessary details
  • Neutral?: No bias found
  • Stable?: Nothing of concern
  • Illustrated, if possible, by images?
  • Appropriate licensing: No copyright violations
  • Relevance and captioning: I don't see the benefit of including File:Yunque waterfall.jpg. A screenshot of the music video would probably be better.
