Because I See an Impending Editing War (Regarding 4chan's mention in the article)

[edit]

The assertion that criticism of this phrase has racist origins from "4chan" is a dubious claim not supported in the article, it is merely asserted and supposed to be taken as a fact.

The entire basis of that nebulous claim being included in this article, is to be used as a vehicle to make the further intuitive leap that any mainstream criticism of this phrase is perpetuating antisemitism.

Person who removed my edit erroneously claims it was substantiated and then cites that the source is "generally reliable"

Based on his logic, Muslims claim that Muhammad has never told a lie in his life. You must accept his claim that he's the messenger of God based on that character judgment.

However, character judgments don't supersede concrete evidence or substantiated claims. 2001:56A:7BE1:F200:65A2:4759:8479:96D0 (talk) 18:19, 10 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there! Welcome to Wikipedia. I'm glad you're here, contributing. Adrian Monck's statements are an example of a primary source: as the managing director of the World Economic Forum (WEF), he made statements on behalf of the WEF and in defense of the WEF. I agree that sourcing any portion of an article excessively to primary sources is problematic; see WP:PRIMARY for a further discussion of this. We also need secondary sources to verify claims made in primary sources. For example, Know Your Meme says that 4chan's /pol/ (politics) message board was the origin of opposition to the phrase in the context of COVID-19 and The Great Reset, in the third quarter of 2020. (source). However, WP:KNOWYOURMEME says that because Know Your Meme's content is generated by users, it is not generally reliable, so we should not cite it. I would appreciate if you could search the Internet to find good, reliable, secondary sources, so that we can keep this article full of useful information. Thanks again! Private Property

[edit]

Private property & personal property are two distinctly different things. As far as I can tell from the Wiki article here, the article written by Auken is referring to personal property. 2600:1700:9D40:12F0:DD67:DDC:3B36:9F4F (talk) 21:14, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I concur, it should be personal property and not private property.
Using the common definitions, personal property refers to items owned for personal use and enjoyment (not intended for generating profit), while private property refers to the means of production or assets used to generate profit. Tukars.7z (talk) 15:12, 16 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

So, the wef propaganda is encyclopedical material?

How come? Who cares about WEF? And why their marketing tricks like this motto deserve a wikipedia poage? 79.166.2.54 (talk) 11:25, 28 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
