Area
[edit]Presumably changed over time. This non-RS says a 1981 survey gave it an area of 22 square kilometers or 8.5 square miles but I'm not sure what that would mean since it had already joined Chongming by that point. Presumably the area of the enclaves of Haiyong and Qilong taken together? (Qilong is much larger now.) — LlywelynII 02:17, 13 January 2015 (UTC)
Map
[edit]It is requested that a map or maps be included in this article to improve its quality. Wikipedians in China may be able to help! |
Someone added this request, but any map would need to have a specific date. The island was constantly shifting and growing. Be careful not to use any of the maps Commons currently has of Shanghai, since they're almost all off. (Not as in outdated, as in they just didn't do this area of the map carefully and have the positions and shapes of the Yangtze delta islands very roughly done.) — LlywelynII 13:25, 31 January 2015 (UTC)
Photo
[edit]Someone added this request. Baidu Baike and Hudong have photos; I'm pretty sure Hudong's are all under copyright (even their text is), but I don't know about Baidu Baike's photos. Are they freely available for uploading to Commons? — LlywelynII 13:25, 31 January 2015 (UTC)
