--Perches 01:50, 1 August 2006 (UTC)The Yokohama Athletic Club is an important site in chronicaling the birth of baseball in Japan. Nearly all works I have read detailing early baseball history in Japan have mentioned the YAC or the matches that took place there between the Japanese and Americans. It is significant to the history of baseball in Japan. Obscure yes, unimportant no. Obviously it would be helpful if more was added to the topic (maybe I'll get to it at some point), but that's why it's up here. Hopefully someone will come across it and add to it rather than mark it for impending deletion.[reply]

Propose deletion: This stub article overlaps with the documented history of the Yokohama Country & Athletic Club. External citations and newspapers of the period use the Yokohama Athletic Club and Yokohama Country and Athletic Club names interchangeably. --Aw1805 (talk) 05:50, 23 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
