Yoie Bohlin's notability has been questioned and I can see why. Up till August 2016 Bohlin competed in mostly Swedish competitions with good but not outstanding results. But not so anymore!
I follow trail running and ski mountaineering closely and have written Wikipedia articles on some important competitors and races, always trying to limit this to the world pinnacle. I can honestly say that Yoie Bohlin's 15 minute victory over the world elite in the 2016 Stranda Fjord Trail Race surprised me more than anything ever has in the world of running and skiing. Such things shouldn't happen. It is akin to somebody who has never run 100 meters suddenly beating Usain Bolt by 0.3 seconds. It is that strange! --Klättermusen (talk) 10:03, 27 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
After waiting for an answer to my previous post on this talk page for almost a year, I have decided to remove the notability tag.--Klättermusen (talk) 08:56, 9 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
