- Noting this, but the WP:COMMONNAME should come from the spelling used in reliable Eng lang literature. This should only be a backup or tiebreaker. toobigtokale (talk) 19:21, 29 August 2023 (UTC)
Article title
[edit]I haven't done any research, but this seems odd. Is the title supposed to be just "Sangsul"? Is this the WP:COMMONNAME used in academic literature? toobigtokale (talk) 00:46, 26 August 2023 (UTC)
- I just changed it to Yi Sang Sul; this is the spelling used in a 1907 new york times article. This is still not ideal though; ideally the spelling would come from recent academic literature, but I haven't done adequate research tbh. I'm betting the spelling would just be the McCune Reischauer form (Yi Sang-sŏl) toobigtokale (talk) 19:22, 29 August 2023 (UTC)
