[edit]the hottest temperature ever recorded in canada was 45 degrees Celsius (113 F) according to environment canada website below
this was recorded by my grandfather, Samuel Molberg at Midale Sask on July 5, 1937. I believe that the same temperature was recorded by someone on that same day at Yellowgrass, Saskatchewan, but I don't know who.
The Yellowgrass article mentions 114 F but I think this is in error.
