Fate of Cui Qiao

In the article, it says in the plot outline: "After her marriage, Qiao crosses the Yellow River at night. Her fate is unknown." This generalization is highly misleading, because it doesn't point out that Qiao has run away from her arranged marriage, and is crossing the river in search of the communists' Eighth Route Army to join them. Quite the difference in interpretation, I would think.
