Asssessment
[edit]I am assessing this article as Start / Mid. Has a reasonable amount of content and appears to have importance, so I think these rating are appropriate. For improvement; I would say this article needs more references and more content/sections on other content about the school. Camaron1 | Chris 18:47, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
- School is noteable, around 1200 students (large for a UK secondary school) plus associated college, several famous attendees to. Has a fair amount of history behind it, there was a major fire which destroyed part of it quite controversially though that isn't in here yet. Ironically one of the largest schools in hampshire situated in one of the smallest towns.
The school is ok, the techers are ok, the food needs to be ok, andd urmmm why do the techers NOT wear pyjamas when teaching?? —Preceding unsigned comment added by WikipedianProlific (talk • contribs) 21:48, August 27, 2007 (UTC)
In Ofsted report it is noted that the Sixth form made significant improvements after a new Director of Sixth Form was appointed (shortly before the Ofsted inspection).

[edit]I've removed the following from the notable alumni as they do not appear to be notable. No Wikipedia article and no evidence of notability from a Google search.
- Harry Arthur, Professional Racing Driver
- Henry Fricker, Singer, Songwriter, Pianist
Lewis Hulbert (talk) 18:56, 22 July 2019 (UTC)
- Today I've removed Lewis Ledlie, actor from the list as he does not appear to be notable as an actor with only two minor credits on IMDb. Lewis Hulbert (talk) 19:07, 22 January 2021 (UTC)
