Today I deleted the claim that Yarnfield is the most boring place in England, mainly because there is no evidence for this. In fact, there is a BBC article claiming this title for a small area of North Lincolnshire (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/1600225.stm). Looks like Yarnfield is really going to have to work at being more boring than that!
Aug 8 and Sept 5 2007 - removed and then repeated removal of the car racing and drugs claims. Wiki policy is that entries should be in some way significant or unique, and this sentence does not appear to be either (ie how many rural villages do NOT have 'boy racers' on nearby lanes and how many do NOT have hidden drugs problems?). In addition, we would need to see some kind of evidence to backup the claim - newspaper reports or suchlike - if it was a notable claim for the village (eg if the village had the worst accident rate or the highest drugs problem, that would be a worthwhile comment if it could be substantiated).
