Dictionnaire Infernal - Collin de Plancy (1863) (paraphrased) http://www.deliriumsrealm.com/delirium/demon_deplancy.asp
Togans Spirit Guide
"a companion guide to renaissance spirits"
are some refrences
Name
[edit]Whatever Yan-Gant-Y-Tan means, it certainly isn't "wanderer in the night". 'Yann' is a proper name equivalent to 'John', 'gant' means 'with' and 'tan' means 'fire'. Therefore, it means something along the lines of 'John with the fire'. Mon Vier 10:53, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
- i dont know one way or the other to be exact, i just know what de Plancy wrote down, he said wonderer in the night, thats what i wrote, if you dont agree take it up with the 150 year olf dead man. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Tophatdan (talk • contribs) 03:36, 28 March 2007 (UTC).
- Plancy in here didn't say anything about wonderer in the night: https://archive.org/details/DictionnaireInfernal1863/page/n717/mode/2up --Jakeukalane (talk) 00:48, 27 January 2021 (UTC)
