Search Monkey was selected as one of the top 10 Semantic Web Products of 2008. See http://www.readwriteweb.com/archives/top_10_semantic_web_products_2008.php —Preceding unsigned comment added by LakisK (talk • contribs) 05:43, March 31, 2009
- Why not merge this with Yahoo? I fail to see how this app is notable enough to deserve its own article, even if it was selected as one of those top 10 web products. The only other products from that list with articles to their names are the ones that are actual search engines or companies. The only app there with its own article was part of a list. What sets Search Monkey above the rest to the point that it deserves to be independent of the Yahoo article? If you can prove this, another editor will probably remove the speedy tag - I'll probably be asleep by then. —LedgendGamer 05:54, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
Linux package SearchMonkey
[edit]There is also a Linux package for file search called SearchMonkey. It should be noted here whether or not there is a connection between the two. (I know I'm confused - others may be too.) --Chriswaterguy talk 05:36, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
- No connection, but I don't think a mention is warranted as they are separate domains and it isn't a root SearchMonkey page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ptarjan (talk • contribs) 01:42, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
