Personal commentary
I just want to say that this park, no matter how limited it is as a park/protected area, nor how little one can say about it encyclopedically, is nevertheless one of my favorites in Oregon. I don't miss a chance to give it a visit while going down 101. Okay, editorial done. Sorry for the blahblah. Werewombat 14:49, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
- This is my favorite beach as well. It has everything I could want at a beach such as sandy beach, rocky beach, driftwood, seashells, interesting sealife, wildlife (bald eagles), a river, great views of the village and mountains, friendly people and dogs. In fact this is a perfect dog beach. My dogs love to run on the beach and swim in the ocean waves-barking and chasing each other like wild kids. Then I take them to the river on the north side of the beach where they rinse the saltwater off and they come out squeaky clean and soft! One thing that would make this a better park would be to have a restroom and a couple of trash recepticles. Oh and I almost forgot....if the tide is right there is also a cave that is kind of fun but scary to go into.Marycerro 18:13, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
