About this article's initial history
[edit]In editing the article about Gateshead Talmudical College, there seemed to be a "need" for an article about Rabbi Yaakov Moshe Hillel. An editor was on the warpath regarding names listed as notable alumni. Since there was a link to the Hebrew language article (but it didn't seem to satisfy/satisfice), I did a quick translate & light cleanup... emphasis on light. One ref in the Hebrew Wiki was a biography, published in an Israeli magazine. The right way would have been to translate this too - even a poor job on polishing the machine translation would at least have given a notability ref at first base. As some now say . . . "my bad."
Once the article was moved to DRAFT space, I had some time to work on it. As for the alumni list restoral for Rabbi Hillel, it seems that the edit summary "have machine translated Hebrew Wikipedia article, to form an English counterpart" is, as of this writing, still holding.
