- DGG, I don't know what all happened, and who this editor is, but this article really is problematic. I'm trying to help it along a bit. I don't think I disagree with the editor's restoration, but I do think it's a lousy example of an article that's being reinstated. Drmies (talk) 23:17, 1 December 2021 (UTC)
yes, you're right
[edit]I agree that this entire series of articles is a problem. It's an extreme representation of what has always been a major problem: the desire for individual articles . I think the only real use of minute individual stubs for people or things in a series is satisfaction of vanity and seo (seo is not dead--Google still differentiates between special positioning for aWP article if the title matches)
About half of the afd disputes really lead themselves to a section of a combination article resolution, but people will normally look for every excuse to avoid this. I tend to be extra careful here because back in 2006 when I joined it was a routine strategy to delete content by editorial merging of articles ,then reducing and finally removing the content, and eventually removing even the redirect because there was nothing to point to. Rhisisraer now, but it still sometimes happens.
I think the problem is with the fundamental structure being focussed around articles.
As for this particular one, I just did the G4 check in the usual automatic way. For G4 speedies I do not even try to decide if the change makes it worth an article. This is especially so beaus emost G4s are placed by people who canot directly see the original article. DGG ( talk ) 02:28, 2 December 2021 (UTC)
