Is there any source for the data? The JTA labeled him regularly as South-African Jew of from South Africa (example 1, example 2). A 2009 published book claims, he was born in Seda, Lithuania, which is not at all contrary to the JTA that never explicitly stated, he was born in South Africa. Can the authors/editors Josef Rosin, Joel Alpert and Sue Levy as well as the publisher The Friends of the Yurburg Jewish Cemetery accepted as reference? Secondly, I could not find any (even unreliable) source for the year of birth. The birth date is 18.09.1901 (see [1], in hebrew). Indeed,he was born in Lithuania, and after law studies he moved to South Africa. אבינעם (talk) 22:36, 26 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
