The result of the move request was: moved -- JHunterJ (talk) 12:21, 20 November 2020 (UTC)
– Yıldız is an important neighbourhood of Istanbul, but there are other topics with the name that are at least of equivalent significance, and often of significantly higher pageviews, such as the palace (that the neighbourhood is apparently named after), the mountain, or the fair number of people with the name. – Uanfala (talk) 02:37, 13 November 2020 (UTC)
- Support until this RM I'd have thought that Yıldız Palace is only known as Yıldız Palace not Yıldız, but a check in GBooks supports the move. In ictu oculi (talk) 12:46, 13 November 2020 (UTC)

- Comment - Both proposed titles use Latin alphabet characters which are not commonly used in English. Some sort of pronunciation guide for English speakers unfamiliar with these characters should be added to the lead of the article regardless. How do English language sources refer to the location? - I've added IPA to the main article and to the dab page. Probably not that helpful given the need to use wonky characters, but better than nothing. – Uanfala (talk) 20:50, 14 November 2020 (UTC)
