Lucas Chrisotopoulos
[edit]It came to my attention a while ago at Jin Midi that User:Lucas Christopoulos had been adding content sourced to himself and has likely been doing the same thing via multiple IPs since. This was brought up in 2022 when it was asked whether he was the same person as the author but he never gave a definitive answer and has since stopped using the registered account. However afterwards a slew of IPs geolocating to Japan, where he currently resides according to academia.edu, have been intermittently adding and re-adding content published by Christopoulos: [1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9]. These Japanese IPs, likely himself, have been adding Christopoulos' work and conveniently the most recent ones ([10]). In addition to sourcing to himself, he also has no real credentials and nothing can be found on his background other than that he visited China once and is taking a History PhD in Japan. In Chen 2021, the author criticized Christopoulos for providing a completely unsubstantiated translation, which doesn't bode well for the sources' veracity.
