Page update
I did a sort-of revamp to the article with this edit. Biggest changes include organizing and re-wording some things, condensing the many subsections into one, and trying to update or remove any outdated statements. Hopefully the article flows a bit better. Obviously the page still needs work with sourcing, the content it covers, expansion, etc. Cheers, ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 07:12, 3 January 2014 (UTC)
This page needs a total rewrite. The company/product has completely changed. --19:53, 19 August 2014 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 136.142.214.19 (talk)
While the front page has changed to a completely different service (one i frankly dont understand how to use), its worth noting that the old software is still fully functional (or at least as functional as it was when its development was sort of abandoned) and the appropriate website still works if using subdomains classic.xfire.com and social.xfire.com. So technically the old product is still fully functional, even if not being official distributed anymore.
That being said the article does need a complete rewrite, however id like to dispute its lack of notability claim. This service was very important in video games in-game interaction scene and is, in my opinion, notable for its historical influence on it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.219.12.239 (talk) 12:01, 9 February 2015 (UTC)
