Palm hardware speeds
[edit]I recall that the Palm m500 ran at 33MHz. Others may have been even faster. Can someone confirm this? --Steven Fisher 02:15, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
- I ran Speedy 3.4 [1] on my Tungsten E, and it reported a clock speed of 85 MHz. The first edit to say that was made by User:DanShearer. I've left a message on his talk page, and removed the statement from the article. Jobarts-Talk 02:38, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks Jobarts. Looking at Freescale DragonBall it seems the only factory options were 16.58Mhz, 33MHz or 66MHz. I know it was possible
- to overclock, which might explain where you got your number from and mine too. I also know that various bits of software reported the clockspeed
- incorrectly but I wouldn't have thought uCLinux was among them. — Preceding unsigned comment added by DanShearer (talk • contribs) 12:43, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
