The subject of this article has been written about by many independent secondary sources, which are clearly cited in the article. What exactly is the doubt about the subject's notability? Ferox Seneca (talk) 15:03, 13 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
With the exception of the GEO.tv coverage, the other sources are all in the context of Pepsi Battle of the Bands--while coverage from that contest can be used to support facts about the band, if the majority of the coverage is from that context, it suggests that the subject is not independently notable, and that content about the topic should be merged to a relevant page about that show. signed, Rosguilltalk15:15, 13 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
| This article mentions that the band was on that show, but is not about the band's performance on that show.
Hm, not sure how I missed the Youlin profile (second link). That looks like a good source. The first link is a bit brief in its scope. signed, Rosguilltalk15:50, 13 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Can we agree to take down the "notability" tag? (One of the problems with finding recent sources on contemporary Pakistani musicians is that Covid occurred shortly after the last source cited in this article and killed what little music scene there was in Pakistan. We're going to have to wait some time for the industry to recover, and for new articles to be written about local musicians).
I want to revert the deletion of this article, since I believe that the article was sufficiently well-sourced to demonstrate notability. Several articles discussed the band's activities outside the scope of PBOB.Ferox Seneca (talk) 16:37, 20 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
