Merger_proposal
[edit]- I propose that the article Xantinol nicotinate be merged into this article. It seems that the active component of Xantinol nicotinate is the xantinol and it just so happens that the nicotinate salt ([[1]]) is the commonly used from in medicines. As there is very little content in either article at the moment I can't see a particular reason why two distinct pages would be needed. --The chemistds (talk) 13:59, 13 January 2014 (UTC)
- Since both xantinol and nicotinic acid (niacin) are vasodilators, xantinol nicotinate has two active ingredients and could be considered a combination drug which are typically given their own articles on Wikipedia. -- Ed (Edgar181) 14:16, 13 January 2014 (UTC)
