The tone of this page also suggests that the use of files to specify the X resources should be avoided. However, it's not completely true -- while ~/.Xdefautlts shouldn't be used, the files belonging to, e. g., /etc/X11/app-defaults are fine. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.179.20.34 (talk) 14:35, 6 July 2008 (UTC)
