Scope
[edit]I'm going to observe that this article reads a bit like an André Schmechta article that is named X Marks The Pedwalk. There might be a case to be made for splitting the article into one for André - with all his "side projects," personal info, TGIF studios, etc. content - and one for XMTP/Scarecrow; the latter being notable on it's own as one of the flagship acts that made Zoth Ommog. Curious what others think... -- t_kiehne (talk) 05:36, 19 October 2020 (UTC)
Notability
[edit]On the topic of notability; XMTP was one of the flagship acts on Zoth Ommog - a notable label in industrial electronic music - and Andre's talents as producer was a key part of the label's operations in both production and mastering. In addition to Zoth in Europe, XMTP was also signed with Metropolis in the US, thus meeting the criteria of releasing "two or more albums" "on one of the more important indie labels". Thus, I believe the notability warning ought to be removed.
The article does need some better references and expansion - I plan to work on that. -- t_kiehne (talk) 03:19, 12 October 2020 (UTC)
Untitled
[edit]Hi, and thanks for reading the talk page! The "Discography" section of X Marks the Pedwalk is in order according to release date and not seperated into "albums" and "singles". I did this because I felt the individual album pages for each release flow better this way...if you'd like to change it, please discuss it here first! Thanks...The-dissonance-reports 19:55, 17 December 2005 (UTC)
I changed the disco section :)The-dissonance-reports 19:03, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
What do you think about making pages for all of the side projects? I tend to think they deserve it.
