Lead and infobox
  • For these two sentences (The song received acclaim from music critics, many of whom commended its songwriting and compared it to that of Taylor Swift. Lorde's vocals were compared to Kate Bush's register.), I would avoid the use of “compared” twice in such close proximity.
  • I have a question aout this sentence (Lorde performed "Writer in the Dark" and six other songs as part of a re-imagined Vevo series at Electric Lady Studios, where she recorded the song. ). I do not know what you mean by “re-imagined” in this context. How was the Vevo series “re-imagined” (as the adjective is attached to that noun)?
  • I am not sure if “set list” needs to be wikilinked.
Background and development
  • Please wikilink Lorde when you first mention her in the body of the article.
  • For this sentence (It was also the second song in which she "was speaking to someone or closing a door”.), do you know what the other song is?
Composition and lyrical interpretation
  • Please provide ALT text for the image.
Critical reception
  • Could you provide references for this part (several publications compared its songwriting to that of Taylor Swift)? You mention “several publications”, but I only see one reviewer making this connection.
  • Please be consitent with how you reference the publications’ names in the prose. In some areas, you only say the publication, but in other times, you include the reviewer’s name with the publication. I would be consistent with one way or the other.
External links
  • I would recommend adding a section for this with a link to the MetroLyrics page.
Final comments

Wonderful work with this article. Once my comments are addressed, I would be more than happy to pass. Have a great rest of your day and/or night! Aoba47 (talk) 02:12, 27 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Aoba47: Hey, I just finished fixing the article. Regarding the sentence about the ""re-imagined" Vevo series", I added "song" after Vevo. I think that solves the issue of how vague the sentence sounds. What do you think? Thank you so much for the review! De88 (talk) 03:32, 27 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
