Delete?
@De88: Why are you attempting to delete a Good article? ---Another Believer (Talk) 14:53, 2 September 2020 (UTC)
- @Another Believer: I was told by another user that this article fails to meet all three factors for notability. I want this article to stay, but if it does meet all AfD requirements, then I have no choice but to delete it. De88 (talk) 14:56, 2 September 2020 (UTC)
- De88, Hmm, seems MarioSoulTruthMan should have submitted the deletion nomination, then. I'm disappointed to see a Good article nominated for deletion. ---Another Believer (Talk) 14:57, 2 September 2020 (UTC)
- I am disappointed too. I nominated Melodrama for good topic candidate, but this article seems to be an issue. De88 (talk) 15:02, 2 September 2020 (UTC)
- De88, Well, IMO, MarioSoulTruthMan should have presented their case. ---Another Believer (Talk) 15:26, 2 September 2020 (UTC)

Charts

Should these chart positions be added?
---Another Believer (Talk) 14:58, 2 September 2020 (UTC)
- I will add these to the article. De88 (talk) 15:03, 2 September 2020 (UTC)
- De88, Oops, sorry, I thought I was sharing 2 different URLs. Lorde discography says, "'Writer in the Dark' did not enter the NZ Top 40 Singles Chart, but peaked at number two on the NZ Heatseeker Singles Chart, and number seven on the NZ Artist Singles Chart." ---Another Believer (Talk) 15:34, 2 September 2020 (UTC)
- No problem. I will add the other chart position. Thank you. De88 (talk) 16:00, 2 September 2020 (UTC)

Just sharing some things I found I Google, not for the purpose of demonstrating notability but for article consideration in general:

- https://thespinoff.co.nz/music/10-10-2019/freelorde-how-lordes-songs-warned-us-she-was-going-to-jail/: "Discussing “Writer in the Dark’ for a Spinoff podcast series, Lorde says of the song : “It’s not a police record.” Police are the organisation that arrest people in the leadup to getting put in jail."

- @Another Believer: Went ahead and incorporated as much as I could from these sources without repeating information already mentioned elsewhere in the body of this article. De88 (talk) 06:49, 3 September 2020 (UTC)
- De88, Thanks! ---Another Believer (Talk) 13:48, 3 September 2020 (UTC)
