Worship pastor → Worship Pastor – "Worship pastor" is the incorrect capitalization of the job title. Katkkkkkk (talk) 05:08, 2 June 2017 (UTC)
- This is a contested technical request (permalink). Anthony Appleyard (talk) 08:11, 2 June 2017 (UTC)
- @Katkkkkkk: But is it a proper-name? Anthony Appleyard (talk) 08:11, 2 June 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose It's not a proper name. If it were "worship Peter", that would be correct, but "worship Pastor" is not correct. Walter Görlitz (talk) 14:08, 2 June 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose per MOS:JOBTITLE. Gorobay (talk) 17:04, 2 June 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose per above. Lepricavark (talk) 16:21, 3 June 2017 (UTC)
- It is proper grammar to capitalize both words when indicating a job title. Also, both words should be capitalized as it is the title of the article. Within the article the capitalization is correct. But the article title should be fully capitalized. Katkkkkkk (talk) 04:28, 4 June 2017 (UTC)
- That's the point. It's not proper grammar. Many people do it, but not because it's proper grammar. And even if it were, it's against several manuals of style on Wikipedia. And as you say, it's capitalized correctly in the article, both in the lede and the body. Walter Görlitz (talk) 05:57, 4 June 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose. We use lower case for most job titles; see diocesan bishop, vice president, etc. ╠╣uw [talk] 09:46, 4 June 2017 (UTC)
