what happened to British Heritage magazine
[edit]What happened to WHGroup's British Heritage magazine? WHGroup doesn't currently publish a British Heritage magazine.
Latest archived WHGroup back issue homepage to include British Heritage was in 2015 December. Starting around 2015 Feb, page for backissues of British Heritage said "British Heritage. The subscription page has moved. Back issues are temporarily Out of Stock. Please go to (... palmcoastd.com URL ...)" Latest archived WHGroup back issue page for British Heritage that had issues for sale was in 2014 October with latest being 2014 November issue. http://www.historynet.com/topics/british-heritage doesn't seem to help (with what happened to BH magazine. The magazine used to be at http://www.historynet.com:80/british-heritage (2014 Oct archive), but starting around 2014 December that BH URL started forwarding to http://britishheritage.com:80/ (archived 2015 Jan with "Copyright © 2014-2015 British Heritage" and subscription page at palmcoastd.com) Earliest archived visitor agreement page (of britishheritage.com) "This website is provided to you by the Kliger Heritage", "Jack Kliger" with snailmail address and "Kliger Heritage from the state of New York in the (USA)".
(skipping to the present) Currently https://britishheritage.com/ is website for British Heritage Travel magazine, homepage saying "Copyright © 2014-2016 British Heritage Society" --EarthFurst (talk) 19:16, 18 May 2018 (UTC)
- Checking the current visitor agreement page reveals it still says "This website is provided to you by the Kliger Heritage", so either it is still published by Kliger Heritage, or British Heritage Society forgot to update the visitor agreement. edit: Oh, and they seem to have changed name of the magazine to British Heritage Travel (when mazazine moved to britishheritage.com it was still British Heritage). --EarthFurst (talk) 19:23, 18 May 2018 (UTC)

If the article by Thomas Fleming on the Battle of New Orleans is anything to go by, I would consider it and its ilk to be unreliable. Keith H99 (talk) 15:36, 20 October 2024 (UTC)
Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard/Archive 379#historynet.com
- I would concur with the above. Keith H99 (talk) 15:39, 20 October 2024 (UTC)
