NBA
[edit]Our organization was born as the National Boxing Association (NBA) in 1921, in Rhode Island, as an entity devoted to the government and control of this professional activity, with limited jurisdiction in the United States. It was not created in Venezuela.

Neutrality
[edit]I have several issues here. Someone wrote the WBC is the greatest organization. They also put that McClellan-Benn was the first WBC to WBC champions' fight which is a enormous mistake given that Gomez-Sanchez (1981), Hagler-Hearns (1985), Gomez-Pintor (1982), Gomez-Zarate (1978), Arguello-Watt (1981) and several others preceeded it, with both guys being WBC champions. And Puerto Rico was one of the original twelve countries to form it. Puerto Rico's flag surrounds the boxer on their belt, like the ones of the other eleven countries. This page needs attention. Thanks and God bless! Antonio Miracle Knockout Martin
Alfonso Gómez
[edit]Isn't Alfonso Gómez the current holder of the WBC Continental Americas Welterweight title? He isn't listed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.166.151.7 (talk) 06:03, 4 May 2010 (UTC)

Brackets
[edit]In the table what do the numbers in brackets mean? For the males it goes champion (20), while for the females it goes champion (19). (Fran Bosh (talk) 20:34, 17 May 2023 (UTC))
