Hello, I am planning on reviewing this article for GA Status, over the next couple of days. Thank you for nominating the article for GA status. I hope I will learn some new information, and that my feedback is helpful.
If nominators or editors could refrain from updating the particular section that I am updating until it is complete, I would appreciate it to remove a edit conflict. Please address concerns in the section that has been completed above (If I've raised concerns up to references, feel free to comment on things like the lede.)
I generally provide an overview of things I read through the article on a first glance. Then do a thorough sweep of the article after the feedback is addressed. After this, I will present the pass/failure. I may use strikethrough tags when concerns are met. Even if something is obvious why my concern is met, please leave a message as courtesy.
Best of luck! you can also use the {{done}} tag to state when something is addressed. Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs)
Please let me know after the review is done, if you were happy with the review! Obviously this is regarding the article's quality, however, I want to be happy and civil to all, so let me know if I have done a good job, regardless of the article's outcome.

[edit]- $400,000 per-year. - no need to link the dollar, and it's just "per year". Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 11:58, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
- The second-annual - they only had two events, so annual is a bit of a push. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 11:58, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
General
[edit]- flagship professional wrestling business, - this would be a good place to introduce WWF. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 12:05, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
- .[2][3][1] - not super important, but might be wise to re-order the refs. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 12:05, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
- nd that "If we'd wanted to, - caps in sentence. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 12:05, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
- including Aaron Baker, Mike Christian, Vince Comerford, David Dearth, Berry DeMey, Johnnie Morant, Danny Padilla, Tony Pearson, Jim Quinn, Mike Quinn, Eddie Robinson, Gary Strydom, and Troy Zuccolotto - "including", and then the list is a bit weird. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 12:05, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
- The WWF was used to cross-promote the WBF; its bodybuilders, as well as WWF performers such as "Macho Man" Randy Savage, cut promos for the inaugural WBF Championship during WWF television programming,[1][3] and a WWF-themed episode of Family Feud was played between teams representing the WBF and WWF. - this sentence seems to keep on going.... Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 12:30, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
- Going drug-free, 1992 championship - this is a really poor title, it suggests everyone in the original version was hooked up to steriods, quite the BLP issue. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 12:30, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
- I'm a little bit surprised that ICOPRO isn't independently notable, and worthy of WP:REDLINK. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 12:30, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
- See also has a link to XFL, but there were two attempts (so far) at the XFL, so should both be mentioned. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 12:30, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
- Sources have a lot of SHOUTING, please put them in sentence case. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 12:30, 3 September 2021 (UTC)

[edit]- I'll begin the review as soon as I can! If you fancy returning the favour, I have a list of nominations for review at WP:GAN and WP:FAC, respectively. I'd be very grateful if you were to complete one of these if you get time. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 08:57, 31 August 2021 (UTC)
- I addressed many of the issues you brought up. Also, when it comes to the XFL, the second XFL was more of a straight football league than the 2001 version, which was more blatant in its Attitude Era influence. That was why I singled it out. ViperSnake151 Talk 19:07, 4 September 2021 (UTC)
