Remove bias
[edit]Currently the article includes a list of red links to make sure the article is unbiased. When I find time I'll try to create the articles. Brz7 13:33, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
- But world can be applied after any cultural or geographical grouping, and no one is ever going to write articles about them all. grendelsmother 11:58, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, it's true that world can be applied after any cultural or geographical grouping. But some articles have been created (since these concepts are used), creating a bias. Creating the other remaining articles makes the listing more comprehensive/balanced/neutral. Red links mean also to invite others to write the missing articles.
- Or Wikipedians decide to remove all of the articles. It's an interesting discussion among others related to a relatively recent publication (Clash of Civilizations by Samuel Huntington). The existence of abovementioned boundaries in the present day is disputed though. Brz7 22:45, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
- I also see that these terms (for now) could be unverifiable (Wikipedia:Verifiability) neologisms / protologisms (Wikipedia:Avoid neologisms). Brz7 12:51, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

human society on earth
[edit]In my geography class there is an important distinction between the terms 'earth' and 'world'. Earth, is our planet seen from a phisical vieuwpoint and in a astronomical context. The world is rather the social part of this planet.
Maybe someone could make an article witch treats the world basically as a country. With data that you can see on the pages about countries, like GDP(PPP), GDP(nominal), Both per capita, exports, population(Possibly including the past and future projection about this info), population density, a brief history of human society beginning with the evolution of human's and going to the modern era's including history of society(After the invention of agriculture), etc, etc, etc. Basically the data and information you see when looking at a country on wikipedia. This as an alternative to the article called 'earth' witch treats our planet in a more astronomical and geological way. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.160.61.76 (talk) 22:50, 4 December 2010 (UTC)
