[edit]

removed a comment posted within the article. The comment was the following: "question,, how does biohazard effect in human lives? text me from this number..09083084908 ineed an info.. thankzs! -kimi"

Wikipedia is, in my opinion, no forum to ask questions.

symbols

[edit]

but like what does the symbols mean like the boxes e.g. the triangle , diamond , and octagon ?

The triangle, diamond & octagon are associated with CCCR labels (Canadian Consumer & Chemical Regulations). The WHMIS symbols are always in circles (WHMIS is for the WORKPLACE). CCCR label instuctions and requirements are stricter than WHMIS. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Igmorrissette (talkcontribs) 17:03, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I placed back the "</ref>" tag you've removed. Use Wikipedia:Sandbox for further testing, even if you intend to revert it later. Thank you. %Gryllida 01:29, 15 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I wrote a song to help remember WHMIS. It is called "The WHMIS Warble". Hope it helps you.

Science lab WHMIS certification... citation needed

[edit]

I'm not about to edit the article, but it says "citation needed" for "If you are doing any kind of science lab, you should know what each of these symbols mean." under the section Public Engagement. It's easy enough to find this information on university websites by doing a Google search or searching course descriptions. The University of New Brunswick posts in bold for descriptions of its Chem labs "WHMIS certification required." http://eservices.unb.ca/calendar/undergraduate/display_desc.cgi?number=CHEM%25201006

Voila. "Citation needed" can go away. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.202.28.145 (talk) 18:10, 30 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
