[edit]Why was this speedily deleted only minutes after it was created. It was labeled as a stub and was being worked on. While I understand the need to remove articles which are only advertisements, articles have to start somewhere. Had this article sat there in that form for weeks, by all means remove it. But at least give me and anyone else a chance to improve it.Rtphokie 16:06, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
- You have not explained how this company meets the notability guidelines; the hangon tag is to let admins know to look here for your explanation of how this company meets those guidelines. -FisherQueen (Talk) 16:48, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
- I haven't gotten the chance to complete the article before it was deleted. Please restore it and give me the chance to add history and other items which will display it's notability. This is a well respected publishing company which brings in smaller publishing companies and expands their reach. Rtphokie 17:17, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
- If you want the earlier version undeleted, all you need to do is explain briefly how this company meets the notability criteria at Deletion review. It would help if you had two or three independent sources to verify the information. -FisherQueen (Talk) 17:41, 4 July 2007 (UTC)

- Interesting comment about The 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene and Joost Elffers. But why is it here? JHvW 19:06, 12 July 2011 (UTC)
- Got it. They did the Audio, under their Highbridge division. Dont think we need to mention audio books originally published by other companies. original audios, yes. Its nice to have a list of major works from a publisher (ie links to book articles).(mercurywoodrose)12.125.80.214 (talk) 16:31, 11 April 2012 (UTC)

Hachette acquires Workman
[edit]Hello,
According to the article on WP:FR, Hachette acquires Workman :
En août 2021, Hachette Livre annonce l'acquisition de Workman Publishing pour 240 millions de dollars[1][2].
I guess this should be translated and added to the article…
