I was the original author of this post and I tried to avoid writing it like an advertisement. However, I'm not sure how to present the information better and I would like help identifying exactly what sounds like an ad and how to correct it. For instance, I tried to say what WAVE is and what it does (and document that) instead of talk about how great it is. I also tried to use outside sources. I used the Communities In Schools and America's Promise Wiki pages as templates since they are also national nonprofit organizations that deal with youth issues, particularly the dropout issue. I also looked at the Wiki pages for other nonprofits like United Way of America and the Combined Federal Campaign. The only difference in tone I can see is the section on scandals -- but WAVE doesn't have any scandals or controversy to talk about. Please help me improve this page.
