Notable

[edit]

I think the final resting place of a President of the United States is by definition notable. --NellieBly (talk) 03:22, 15 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

And to add, if you wish to take this to AFD, that's fine. But I think any cemetery worldwide has a serious claim to notability as a geographic area, and one that contains a head of state is (again, in my opinion) by definition notable because it is a notable tourist site. --NellieBly (talk) 03:24, 15 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
And finally, this is not a group or club! --NellieBly (talk) 03:26, 15 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
As the reviewing admin, I agree and have removed the tag. It can be taken to AfD, but I think it would survive that. Chillum 03:31, 15 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. I'm not even a Buchanan fan or an American - I was just surprised to find no article for a Presidential burial site - but I do think such things are notable. --NellieBly (talk) 03:34, 15 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
