I grew up in this neighborhood. I haven't edited Wikipedia before so I'm not comfortable composing the bulk of an article and I'm not sure what qualifies as notable information about a small neighborhood, but I can offer some information:

- Pine Crest Elementary School is located centrally in the neighborhood.

- St. Bernadette's Church and Catholic school is on the University Boulevard edge.

- Woodmoor Shopping Center is on the corner of University Boulevard and Colesville Road (Route 29). Santucci's Delicatessen is a local restaurant in the shopping center that is well known in the community.

- Montgomery Blair High School opened to students in 1998. It is located across University Boulevard from Woodmoor. Prior to its construction, the area of land bordered by Colesville Road, University Boulevard and the Beltway (Route 495) was mostly undeveloped, except for a fire station.

- The neighborhood is quite hilly, and one prominent feature is a large evergreen tree in the center of a traffic circle.

- A website for the neighborhood: http://woodmoorsite.com/

- There is a yearly contest for Christmas decorations administered by the neighborhood association, which separates competitors into night view and day view.

- There is a significant Catholic population in the neighborhood, due in part to the presence of St. Bernadette's.

- The neighborhood lies entirely within the zip code 20901 and within the 8th Congressional district of Maryland. - May 3rd is Pants Optional Day! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.195.87.17 (talk) 15:53, 11 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure whether these claims need to be cited to a source. They are common knowledge for anyone who grew up here.
