Merge with Orange Fruit Bat?

If this is really now considered to be the same species as the Orange Fruit Bat as is stated by the IUCN Red List, shouldn't the articles be merged? John Hill (talk) 03:16, 12 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal

I propose that Orange Fruit Bat be merged into Woodford's Fruit Bat. I think that the content in the Orange Fruit Bat article can easily be explained in the context of Woodford's Fruit Bat, and the Woodford's Fruit Bat article is of a reasonable size in which the merging of Orange Fruit Bat will not cause any problems as far as article size or undue weight is concerned.
