Recent edits
[edit]Recent edits have greatly improved the article, but violate several parts of the wikipedia manual of style
- There is no reason that wooden or bicycle are capitalized.
- There should be a lede image. The version of the article before recent changes included three representative images: an old bike, a new bike, and a kids bike; all made of wood.
Other issues include
- The new history section is more about bicycles at all than wooden bicycles. That content belongs in the history of bicycles article.
- The new lede focuses on construction techniques for modern, western retail, at the expense of historical and global construction techniques.
Therefore, I have tried to preserve the best of both versions. Please discuss issues here instead of simply reverting. -AndrewDressel (talk) 15:48, 24 November 2013 (UTC)
