- This article just isn't yet at GA standard. I would suggest to the nominator and editors of the article that they should take a look at WP:UKCITIES, where there is a 'how-to' approach to writing an article on a settlement. Although general improvements have been made, some of the issues raised in the first GA nomination and consequent nominations have not yet been addressed. The article currently lacks reliable sources. Try to aim for about one reference per paragraph and ensure any material that is likely to be challenged is also sourced. The prose needs to be copy-edited as at present it doesn't flow well and general expansion of the article is required before it can reach GA standard. Before re-submitting this article for a GA review, I would suggest a peer review which will help to identify the errors with the prose and also the references. Although it may be a struggle to get this article to GA, other articles about villages have made GA and even FA before. Look at other GA places articles and specifically those on villages to get an idea of what you should be aiming for. A good example would be Little Thetford, which is now a FA. So don't lose hope! If you need any help, I would be more than happy to assist you in the improvement of the article.
