Expansion plans

So I have the transcript from the trial court, and possibly (I have to recheck the microfiche) an official copy of the appellate court opinion (i.e., one not hampered by copyright issues as one taken directly from the Federal Reporter would). I also have a few good law review articles giving background on the case.

Background

History and facts of the case (details of James Wah Toy and Wong Sun's connection, investigation of Hom Way, possibly brief discussion of the rise of the heroin trade in SF Chinatown per 17 Mich. J. Race & L. 159, 167, and discussion of arrest and the unsigned statements) Trial court (details of the first trial and convictions) Appeal (details of the 9th Cir. case, 288 F.2d 366, which affirmed the trial court)

Opinion of the Court Clark's dissent

Subsequent developments: (need to do research here; it's unclear if they were ever retried, or whatever ultimately became of the principle actors. Should also cover the Wong Sun Society, and the case's importance in crim pro more generally)
