Updating Article

[edit]

I am currently working with 2 other students to add updates to this article that add value based on the Wikipedia Featured Article Criteria. The criteria that we are looking to improve is well researched, comprehensive and creating an effective lead. If our efforts interest you please give us feedback on our changes. The changes from our group will be made by MoralDebauchery, QueenieO Hearts, or myself, AreyehMN. Thanks for your help! Album order

[edit]

I've read conflicting information about this album. Some stuff says that Wolfgang Amadeus is the fourth studio album and other things say fifth is there another band that people are contributing music to in articles?. Does anyone know?

this may be explained here: http://www.answers.com/topic/phoenix-band. It seems there is a live album released between the 2nd and 3rd studio albums. That gives us United, Astralwerks, 2000. Alphabetical, Astralwerks, 2004.Live! Thirty Days Ago, Astralwerks, 2005.It's Never Been Like That, Astralwerks, 2006. And finally Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix, is this one on Glassnotes?, 2009

Lisztomania

[edit]

Shouldn't Lisztomania link to the article on the term Lisztomania? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.123.118.118 (talk) 04:47, 7 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Lisztomania actually links to an article on the film named after the term, not the term itself. just64helpin (talk) 19:06, 19 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Further into the sentence, the words "massive public response" are linked to the Wiki page explaining the term. would it better serve the article to link to the song (as it does now) or to the Lisztomania (phenomenon) page? I also propose the removal of the link to the film Lisztomania. The 2 are not related except by name. QueenieO'Hearts (talk) 21:39, 9 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Love Like a Sunset

Some Information about Phoenix and the album:

[edit]

Kinda lazy and still getting used to formatting in wikipedia, but some information about the album can be found here: On the verge: It's a good year for French band Phoenix I'd add it to the article myself but still trying to get a hang of formatting. Mainly what I found interesting is they started recording on a houseboat, but found themselves having to work in a studio anyway. Dubious

[edit]

I believe the claim that it has been the theme of Melrose Place to be dubious, as it was made by the same IP address (69.169.255.251) as the person who changed the Lisztomania link to the N word, blanked most of the LA INK article, and added an unnecessary expletive to the Shutter Island article. If it actually is true and helpful information, which I concede it may be, I think it should have a citation.

I wish you had signed your post, especially when levying an accusation of dubiousity. However, I do agree that it's probably not true, and I will be bold and remove it -- if someone can cite a source then by all means put it back up. However, currently, it stands almost as an insult to the song as I highly doubt it is actually used. AC (talk) 02:50, 21 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I found one link that lists 1901 as a song played during an episode, but it makes no mention of it being the theme song. I don't even know if it's worth mentioning. http://www.tvfanatic.com/2009/09/cw-music-from-the-week-90210-melrose-place-and-one-tree-hill/ However, if anyone can find any other sources and they think it's worth posting then as I mentioned above, go ahead and add it. Line-up or Personnel

[edit]

Do we need to add in a section highlighting the contributing artists talents? QueenieO'Hearts (talk) 00:36, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect release date

[edit]

The release date for "1901" is given as February 29, 2009, which is not a date that ever happened on our planet.Priceyeah (talk) 19:52, 30 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
