Mistake
[edit]This sentence seems clearly wrong:
- As a fanatical сatholic, in 1559 he organized and led the crusade with Charles IX of Sweden against the French Huguenots and commanded an army of 4000 horsemen and 6000 infantry.
In fact, the Duke of Zweibrücken (financed by Queen Elizabeth of England) fought alongside the Huguenot troops during the Third War of the French Wars of Religion. Charles IX of Sweden only became King of Sweden in 1604, 35 years after the death of the Duke of Zweibrücken. Perhaps the section is about a later Duke? -- NYArtsnWords 01:10, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
