Narrative gap

In the section Construction there appears to be a hiatus (perhaps an inadvertent omission) in that there is no mention of when the Home Office acquired the land It would be helpful if it can be told how much of the land was acquired for the site of the prison and when it changed hands. At present it looks unclear when the Surveyor General of Prisons earmarked the land, was it before purchase or after it when the architectural plans were being drawn up?Cloptonson (talk) 06:56, 3 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
