Navbox
[edit]From my talk page
A navbox should go to the linked articles, as far as I understand only to the linked articles. If to a short article like Wo Gott der Herr nicht bei uns hält, BWV 1128 (which I doubt), it should be collapsed, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 23:34, 22 December 2014 (UTC)

- I see no problem with the navbox I just added to this page. --Francis Schonken (talk) 23:40, 22 December 2014 (UTC)
- I see two problems: It should not be here, because this article is not linked in it. IF here, it should be collapsed, to be in proportion to the relatively short article. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 23:49, 22 December 2014 (UTC)
- Hmm. There may be other reasons to not have a navbox in this article, but a navbox CAN be used on articles not linking to it. While all articles contained in the navbox should contain the navbox, that does not preclude it being placed in other articles. I had a huge editing dispute with another user about this... for example, List of horse breeds is in the {{Equine}} AND the template appears in all 300-400 horse breed articles... so here, I don't see that as a reason to not have a navbox. That said, there may be other reasons I am not aware of, so welcome other discussion. Montanabw(talk) 00:38, 23 December 2014 (UTC)
