Brief Review of 23:54, 17 October 2009
[edit]I figured I'd answer your question here so my response will be kept with the article.
- "widely considered to be one of the great influencers" uses WP:PEACOCK terms, which should be avoided.
- The intro should contain something about his work, not just what he does and where he works.
- The career section does not really have a flow to it, and appears to be a collection of things he has done. Consider organizing into a chronology.
- "Godzich was pivotal", again WP:PEACOCK, but a minor infraction.
I noticed you uploaded an image of Godzich. You can only release images under Creative Commons licenses if you took the photo yourself, or own the copyright to it. As the image appears to be professionally done, I am guessing you did not take it yourself. If this is the case, you need to at least note where you got the image from. If where you got it from has not released the image under the Creative Commons license, a problem arises. Wikipedia's policy for pictures of living people is that only free images can be uploaded and no fair-use images are allowed. If the image is indeed copyright and not free, it will need to be removed form the article and deleted. See WP:NFC#UULP for the pertinent guideline.
