There was a kidnapping crisis that the Witness for Peace was involved in, 29 members went to Nicauragua to hold a peace vigil, got kidnapped but the contras said they were lying. If there are no objections I will add this to the article. Popish Plot (talk) 16:14, 31 March 2015 (UTC)
- I see the official website mentions this witness for peace official site:
"1985
- A Witness for Peace delegation was kidnapped by the Contras on the Rio San Juan. They were released after three days, bringing much-needed media and Congressional attention to the cruelties of the Nicaraguan war."
- Is this true or not? I think it's good to add a secondary source so this article isn't POV in one way. Popish Plot (talk) 16:18, 31 March 2015 (UTC)
