Talk:Beatlemania! With the Beatles

Merge

If the only difference between this album and With the Beatles is the cover design and the Canadian album chronology, we should create a second infobox there to show the cover and the Canadian album chronology, supported by a section that notes the differences. This page should become a redirect to that section. — John Cardinal 12:56, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
I would have suggested dealing with the matter by replacing this Beatlemania! page by simply adding another image to the British With the Beatles infobox and labeling it "Canadian version" but I haven't figured out a way to add a third image to an infobox. I don't see the point of a separate page for this album though either, in any case. (And I'd leave the "Canadian Albums" section of the discography page as it is.) IanHistor 14:48, 4 May 2007 (UTC)

The title is another significant difference. So two separate infoboxes would be better if you want to merge the two articles. Personally, I am opposed to the merger. Steelbeard1 02:34, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

The articles should NOT be merged, as the Canadian Beatlemania! With The Beatles album was the first Beatles album released in North America. Its historical significance as a distinct album is therefore irrefutable. Consequently, the suggested merger box over the album should be removed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Burkeophile (talkcontribs) 11:52, 15 August 2014 (UTC)

I think that it should be merged, as I fully agree with the opening paragraph. Joe Vitale 5 (talk) 14:25, 9 January 2015 (UTC)

Comment

The old way that these albums were put into chronology bands (i.e., a separate band to click through the three-album Canadian chronology and a separate U.S. chronology) was better than an amalgamated "North American" chronology, unless someone acknowledges that Mexico is part of North America and so adds the pre-1965 Musart Mexican LPs! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Burkeophile (talkcontribs) 22:14, 27 July 2014 (UTC)
