Breadth of coverage
[edit]Done The page should really mention the orthodox opposition the WdJ movement received. Hirsch, for example. JFW | T@lk 20:56, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
The article should explain the relevance of Wissenschaft to the modern denominations, e.g. Modern Orthodox, Conservative and Reform. The impact can be explained in terms of the openness to scholarship, the role of historical analysis in movement theology and halakhah (etc), and the particular personalities who likewise contributed to movements.
Couldn't we somehow list some of the major accomplishments or findings of the movement? For instance, w/ history of the Jews or with rabbinic text studies. See para on Zunz (now in goals) as an example.
Can we get this article ready for a GA? What do you all think? Thanks. HG | Talk 12:32, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
