Regarding criticism of Wipro
I still don’t unrestant why the criticism of Wipro is removed frequently. After all nothing is above criticism. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 117.213.16.4 (talk) 10:53, 7 January 2012 (UTC)
- That's because Wikipedia is not a complaint forum, it is an encyclopedia. Consider posting those on your blog and not here. — Abhishek Talk 12:38, 7 January 2012 (UTC)
Dear Abhishek,
This is not a compliant forum, I would definitely agree with you on that. But what is wrong with exposing truths. Do you really believe that Wipro is above criticism?
Thanks. The Criticizer — Preceding unsigned comment added by 117.201.194.148 (talk) 13:39, 7 January 2012 (UTC)
- See WP:NOT. If you continue to readd the material, you may be blocked from editing with the Wipro page being protected. — Abhishek Talk 15:24, 7 January 2012 (UTC)
I have readded the page of criticism regarding Wipro. Wikepedia is an encyclopedia and there is section of criticism of admired people like Jesus, Mohemed, Budha and Gandhi. Even on articles of other corporates also you can see criticism. Why Wipro should be an exception? Please not that the criticism is verifiable for the sites I have provided for reference. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 117.206.39.151 (talk) 05:52, 8 January 2012 (UTC)
- And now you won't be able to. — Abhishek Talk 14:09, 9 January 2012 (UTC)
Please dont remove the new tag "Criticism on tax fraud" as it is acknowledged sources — Preceding unsigned comment added by 117.213.20.194 (talk) 17:29, 22 January 2013 (UTC)
Criticism on tax fraud - Wikipedia is not a news website and is suppose to be a source of knowledge. News source clearly states Wipro refuted the charges. Nikhiltsa (talk) 15:326 26 February 2013 (UTC)
Removal of Wipro BPO section
I have modified the Business Divisions section of Wipro. It is currently after the "Wipro BPO" section. However, the Wipro BPO section should be removed. That's because the business divisions of Wipro are standalone entities and represent the different businesses in which Wipro has its presence. Wipro BPO, Wipro Consulting cannot be classified as separate business divisions as they come under the IT business of Wipro (which is already part of the Business Divisions section)
Is it ok to remove that section?
Regards Ramya Srinivasan --Ramya.srinivasan (talk) 09:28, 17 July 2012 (UTC)
I agree with Ramya's viewpoint. BPO, Consulting, etc cannot be a business divisions according to Wipro's official website.

- Agreed and I have taken a bold swipe at it Elekebia (talk) 10:45, 28 October 2012 (UTC)
TYPO (I think) -- re the abbreviation "TM"
The section "Wipro#Sustainability_at_Wipro" contains the phrase "Asian Sustainability Rating (ASRTM)". However, based upon a search-engine search, I believe that the "TM" part of that should be in smaller, "superscript" letters. (see, e.g., "most" of the hits from https://www.google.com/search?q=Asian+Sustainability+Rating ). I don't have time to ((figure out how to)) fix it right now, but if it doesn't get fixed some time soon, then please (feel free to) remind me to do so. --Mike Schwartz (talk) 18:02, 30 July 2012 (UTC)

Spirit of WIPRO and sustainability section should be removed
The content of this sections should not be in an encyclopedia. These are not verifiable facts but statements to promote the company. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Robert Bange (talk • contribs) 11:37, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
- I agree totally and will take a swipe at it. Elekebia (talk) 20:30, 27 October 2012 (UTC)
- Those claims which are well sourced and from reliable news agencies should be kept, No need to hack away large parts of the wiki because one person didnt like it. --DanLSU (talk) 09:05, 21 November 2012 (UTC)
Statements like "which gives greater understanding of customers’ businesses to build industry specific solutions." should be removed as they are very subjective and read like a press release. This one isn't even cited. --92.41.251.235 (talk) 07:55, 29 April 2013 (UTC)
Revision of commercial language to be more encyclopedic
We have revised some of the text to be less commercial. For example, we removed sensational-sounding adjectives. (Javamen (talk) 16:45, 23 January 2013 (UTC))
References
Hi. Where is the reference/cite for the statement "seventh largest IT services firm globally"? The citation is for publicly traded companies in India only. Thanks Wfong (talk) 06:56, 29 September 2014 (UTC)
