Biathlon

[edit]

There's also a biathlon range in Perisher, albeit one that uses laser rifles rather than real bullets. I wouldn't be surprised if Dinner Plain has the only range that uses real bullets, though. Andjam 08:51, 26 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Winter sport in Australia

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Winter sport in Australia's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "smh.com.au":

  • From Kiandra, New South Wales: http://www.smh.com.au/travel/travel-factsheet/kiandra--culture-and-history-20081121-6df7.html
  • From Snowy Mountains: Upe, Robert; Darby, Jim; Holt, Russell; Bredow, Susan (2009-06-06). "50 reasons to love Australian snow". The Sydney Morning Herald.

Reference named "ReferenceA":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 13:17, 16 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

@Pianist4: Why are you removing this link? Just because a page doesn't exist there yet doesn't mean the link should be removed. If anything, it should be taken as encouragement to create that article. – PeeJay 08:44, 19 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@PeeJay2K3: My thought process was that it had no use of being there, didn't think about it encouraging someone else to create it. Also what's the deal with the reverts on 2015 Rugby World Cup Pool A? I'm in the middle of adding flags to all of the umpires across multiple pages. What's the problem with that? Pianist4 (talk) 08:54, 19 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Pianist4: Your second point isn't relevant to this article, so all I'll say on that front is that rugby doesn't have umpires, it has referees. As for this article, I think you ought to revert yourself and restore the link. – PeeJay 12:09, 19 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
